Abstract:
The 6200 kN billet flying shears, which is used for continuous casting in a steel plant, has been analyzed for the structure and working load according to the measurement of shear force parameter in the normal case of production. At same time, the temperature distribution on the cross-section of the billet and the average temperature of the cross-section which is sheared haso also been analyzed and calculated. On the basis of above, the methods of calculating maximum shear force and the average temperature with simple formula or diagram are put forward.
