Abstract:
The texture changes and characteristics of
β matrix in Ti-16%Al-30%Nb alloy was investigated during compression at 750℃ and annealing.It is shown that the grain orientations with111 plane parallel to compression plane are stable and the grain orientations with110 plane parallel to compression plane are unstable.The grain orientations have not been changed very much during deformation,neither after annealing.The deformation texture came mainly from initial texture before compression.The orientation stability of
β phase during deformation and the possibility of recovery during annealing were also discussed.
