Abstract: A high rigidity mill stand in which the roll can be quickly changed together with guide as been proposed. This type of stand is suitable for bar, wire and section steel rolling. A device named "CASSETE" is mountal on the mill housing. The roll and guide can be premounted in the cassete, and adjusted off line. With the cassete, the roll and guide can be hoisted and mounted at the same time.
