颗粒流本构关系的实验研究

Experimental study on the constitutive relation of granular flow

  • 摘要: 基于"拟流体"的思想,给出了测量颗粒流本构关系的实验方法.在颗粒斜槽流实验中,通过颗粒的抛物线运动计算流层速度分布,根据非牛顿流体理论求得颗粒流黏性的本构关系;建立了颗粒斜槽流的数学模型,流层的速度为指数分布,流量为斜槽倾角和流层厚度的函数.以小麦颗粒为例,实验结果与用"拟流体"方法所得的预测值进行比较,相对误差在13%以内.

     

    Abstract: An experimental method for measuring the constitutive relation of granular flow was presented. Granular chute flow was described as a non-Newton fluid, and its constitutive relation was computed on the base of the velocity distribution calculated by the throwing motion of granules when being out of a chute. A model of granular chute flow was employed, which indicates that the velocity obeys exponential distribution and the flow rate is a function of chute angle and flow thickness. From the theoretical analysis of wheat granule chute flow by using the constitutive relation from experiment, the relative error of the predicted volume flow rate is less than 13% compared with experimental data.
