Abstract:
LiFePO
4/carbon nanotube (CNT) composite cathode materials were synthesized by a sol-gel-microwave method. The effects of microwave time and CNT content on the electrochemical properties of LiFePO
4/CNT were studied and the crystal structure and surface morphology were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results show that the samples with better electrochemical performance are obtained when the CNT content in LiFePO
4/CNT is 2% and the microwave time is 18 rain. When charge-discharge cycling at 0.1 C, the initial specific discharge capacity is 142 mAh·g
-1 and the specific capacity at the 10th cycle is 136mAh·g
-1.
