Abstract:
Dry-processed electrode process is a novel electrode fabrication method that does not require the addition of any solvents and has advantages such as high areal density, low internal resistance, and long cycle life performances, which have great potential for application in supercapacitors and lithium-ion batteries. Firstly, this review introduces the preparation methods and characteristics of dry-processed electrodes. Secondly, it discusses in detail the research progress in the application of dry-processed electrodes in supercapacitors and lithium batteries, including research results on improving the electrode mass loading and electrochemical performances. Finally, it summarizes the current applications of dry-processed electrodes in supercapacitors and lithium batteries and the challenges that exist, and proposes directions for future research.
