Started from the kinetic experiments of nitrogen removal by fluxes and the mass transfer theory of double film a mathematical model of nitrogen removal has been developed. Based on the model, the removal process of nitrogen can be prodicted and the methods increasing the effect and rate of nitrogen removal by fluxes can be obtained.
