Water Modeling Research on Slag-Entrapment in the Mould of Thin Slab Continuous Caster

  • Based on the Similarity criteria, series water modeling experiments have been carried out to investigate the mechanisms of powder entrapment in the mould of thin slab continuous caster. SG200 hydraulic experiment system was applied to measure the wave amplitude. The main mode of the powder entraps into the steel and the influences of the technique parameter to entrap depth and mode have been obtained.
