Abstract
In order to understand the mechanism of short-circuited deoxidization, an experiment was designed and performed for measuring the relation between the open circuit voltage of a deoxidization device and the process time. A theoretical formula was applied to this process so that the open circuit voltage could predict the limit of deoxidization reaction. The experiment results show that this experiment and theoretical analysis are successful.
